01 // The Challenge

Connecting
the Regions

The visual bar was high, but the deeper challenge was alignment. Riot, our creative team, and the development team each approached the project through different priorities. The experience needed to remain ambitious and polished without proposing interactions that couldn’t ship or allow technical constraints to dilute the design.

02 // The Process

Designing
the Journey

  • Translated Riot’s objectives into actionable creative and UX requirements.
  • Developed the experience architecture alongside visual exploration.
  • Designed the interactive EMEA map and supporting digital components.
  • Worked directly with developers to evaluate feasibility throughout design.
  • Managed Riot feedback while protecting consistency across the overall system.
03 // Execution

Bringing
EMEA Together

Interactive Map
Fans could explore the EMEA region geographically and discover the leagues and stories connected to individual locations.

Regional Stories
The experience turned a large competitive ecosystem into accessible, location-driven storytelling.

Design Bridge
I acted as the creative connection between Riot stakeholders, designers, and developers throughout production.

UX Direction
Complex championship information was organized into a clear digital experience designed around fan exploration.

Technical Alignment
Engineering feasibility was considered throughout design rather than waiting until handoff.

Riot Standard
The final experience maintained the level of polish expected from one of gaming’s most design-conscious publishers.
